Oil & Gas Association Joined the Coalition “For Shadow Economy Elimination”
The largest industry association of Ukraine has joined the ranks of business associations and public organizations having decided to cooperate in the field of implementation of the reforms necessary for the country by improving tax legislation, ensuring transparency and openness of the State Fiscal Service agencies, liberalizing the cash register market, and reducing corruption and opportunities for the shadow economy development.
The decision was made due to the fact that the Coalition’s objectives and tasks are consistent with the main activities of the UOGA, which has taken a number of important steps during the last year to improve business climate and eliminate redundant administrative barriers for the national oil and gas industry.
“We are pleased that domestic business community is teaming up to address burning problems. As you know, those who want to work transparently and efficiently manage to find ways to do it, while others are looking for excuses. Our Association intends to continue supporting any initiatives that would contribute to the elimination of shadow economy and corruption and to the development of fair and honest competition”, Dmytro Kulyk, the President of the Ukrainian Oil & Gas Association says.
