The Ukrainian Oil & Gas Association is worried about the situation with destruction of the gas station construction site located at Dovzhenko Street, which belongs to Glusco network, and rumouring in the Internet about the illegitimacy of acquisition of the site by the Swiss Glusco Energy SA.
The Ukrainian Oil & Gas Association believes that distribution of such rumours about Glusco deludes the public opinion and damages the business reputation of the company. The right to accuse belongs only to competent authorities and only based on results of inspections of business activities of entities. And any dialogue based on the brutal force should not be acceptable in a civilized democratic society.
The national fuel company Glusco is a current member of the Ukrainian Oil & Gas Association, it has signed and complies with the Code of Ethics of Ukrainian Oil & Gas Association, and it is a member of the European Business Association (EBA). The company has proved to be a law-abiding and faithful supplier of petroleum products and services that complies with principles of transparent and legal business conduct.
According to information provided by Glusco, the company has all necessary documents to construct a building of the gas station site.
The Ukrainian Oil & Gas Association supports the Glusco initiative: in order to find the truth, we will prepare a set of official requests to local authorities and law forces asking to clarify the existing situation.
We appeal to make decision on such a disputable issue in a legal environment and set a case in an administrative court, which could resolve a dispute according to the clear regulated legislation of Ukraine considering facts instead of considerations and emotions.
