News from Members of the Ukrainian Oil & Gas Association: The Parallel Company Has Paid UAH 660 M of Taxes to the State Budget of Ukraine in 2017.

One of the largest Ukrainian suppliers of fuel in large and small wholesale batches the Company Parallel has transferred UAH 659.8 M of taxes and duties to budget funds of various types in 2017. This amount included UAH 634.5 M paid by Parallel to the state budget and UAH 25.3 M contributed to local budgets.

The company press-service declared that the major amount of payments (91.8%) to the state budget was represented by taxes for imported fuel supplies as follows: the excise duty in the amount of UAH 333.5 M and Value Added Tax (VAT) in the amount of UAH 248.8 M paid for customs’ clearance of petroleum products.

Mr. Christo Ivanchev, the General Director of Parallel Company has emphasized that: “Despite the fact, that our company runs its business activity in crisis conditions for the fourth year in a row, we always fulfil our social obligations, pay wages to our employees and pay taxes to budget funds of various types in time”.

The Parallel Company is a network of modern gas stations for motor vehicles. The fuel of Parallel is sold today at 60 fuel complexes and gas stations in Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye regions and Ukraine-controlled territory of Donetsk and Lugansk regions. The company is also one of the largest Ukrainian large and small wholesale fuel suppliers.
