Leonid Kosyanchuk headed SunOil

February 21, 2018 Leonid Kosyanchuk, former president of the Association of operators of the Ukrainian petroleum products market, was appointed to the position of general director of the Trading House “Sun Oil”, manager of the retail network SunOil, the company’s press service reported.
“I received very extensive powers from the shareholders that will allow me to effectively develop this business,” Leonid Kosyanchuk said. “This will be as transparent and understandable as possible in terms of financial and tax discipline and impeccable quality of oil products.”
Among his key tasks in the new position, Mr. Kosyanchuk highlighted the strengthening and expansion of the company’s retail business through the acquisition of new facilities, as well as a franchise program. The top manager called the continuation of building a business on the basis of full transparency for the market, the consumer and the state.
Kosyanchuk predicts the beginning of the reconstruction of the retail network, taking into account the parameters of each station. The company sees its positioning in the economy segment, but with a higher level of accompanying offers and services.
Leonid Kosyanchuk from 2009 to 2016 headed the largest association of participants in the oil products market “Association of operators of the Ukrainian petroleum products market” (now “Oil and Gas Association of Ukraine”, NAU). Previously, he worked in the structures of Lukoil in Ukraine, and also headed the Drogobych oil refinery. In 2006-2007 years. was the head of the department of oil and gas in the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine.
The network of filling stations SunOil is created on the basis of the rented network “Vesta” and has 140 filling stations located in Kyiv, Sumy, Odessa, Dniprovsk, Zakarpatye, Khmelnytsky, Mykolaiv, Kherson and Kharkov regions. As part of the network operates 35 AGPP and 43 stores. SunOil is an active member of the Oil and Gas Association of Ukraine.
