OKKO Agrotrade finances agricultural producers by almost 1 billion hryvnia

In the current marketing year, OKKO Agrotrade, a member of the OKKO Group holding, doubled its financing of agricultural producers as part of company’s forward program. For timely fieldwork, agrarians were provided with almost 1 billion hryvnias — both directly in cash and in commodity supplies of mineral fertilizers and fuel, the press service of the company reports.

Forward program “OKKO Agrotrade” provides that for the resources received, agro producers will pay for the output of the future harvest. An agrarian receipt or a pledge agreement formalizes the corresponding agreements. “OKKO Agrotrade” mainly plans to export the resulting agricultural products.

“For three years of vigorous activity in the agro-industrial complex, we are dynamically developing and expanding the range of our offers,” says Alexander Nikolenko, General Director of OKKO Agrotrade. — If last year we provided our partners with only fuel and mineral fertilizers, then this season we proposed a new instrument — money. At the same time, we significantly simplified the contract procedure and reduced the time for consideration of clients’ requests — a preliminary decision on cooperation passes a resolution within one day, the final one — within five days. We are pleased that the customers with whom we started cooperation a year or two ago, prolong our partnership this year.”

OKKO Agrotrade is one of the business lines of the current member of the Ukrainian Oil and Gas Association — the OKKO Group holding, established in 2016 to meet the needs of agrarian business in finance, fuel and mineral fertilizers. Today, there are already more than 200 agricultural producers, as large companies with areas of several thousand hectares, and farmers with 500 hectares of land, participants of the OKKO Agrotrade forward program.
