Mr. Yaroslav Starovoytenko headed the Oil and Gas Association of Ukraine
On February 10, 2023, the Ukrainian Oil and Gas Association (UOGA) elected a new head. Yaroslav Starovoytenko became the acting chairman of the largest industry association.
Mr. Starovoytenko expressed his gratitude to the market participants for their support and promised to make every effort to justify their trust. He stated, “I have a full understanding of the current problems of the market, as well as extensive experience in business, and I am ready to fully devote myself to solving the tasks set before the Association.”
Since 2006, Yaroslav has worked in international companies in the oil and gas market. Since 2015, he has headed the development direction of new projects in the GT group of companies. In 2020, he joined the team of the Oil and Gas Association of Ukraine as the deputy president of the association.

The Ukrainian Oil and Gas Association is an industry association that represents the interests of the largest players in the oil and gas market. The Association includes the largest wholesale, retail, mining, and processing enterprises, representing national, international, private, and state business. Some of the members of the Association include WOG, OKKO, Shell, AMIC Ukraine, SOCAR, KLO, Parallel, and Ukrgazvydobuvannya. The Association takes an active part in developing the legislative framework of the country, monitoring and solving problematic issues of the industry, and actively interacts with state authorities, private and state enterprises, industry and consumer associations, consulting agencies, and the media to implement and comply with European standards of service quality on the market, as well as protecting the interests of the Association’s members.
