AMIC Energy Held the 11th Austrian Film Week in Support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

From March 30 to April 5, the “11th Week of Austrian Cinema” took place at the “Zhovten” cinema in Kiyv, with the support of the Embassy of the Republic of Austria and the AMIC Energy gas station network. According to the company’s press release alongside the festival’s cultural and educational value, the main goal was to raise funds to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The report states that 466 tickets were sold at the “Zhovten” cinema during the week. AMIC Energy, the festival’s general partner, will double the profits earned from the ticket sales and transfer the amount to a special account in the National Bank of Ukraine to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

We believe that Ukraine’s greatest wealth is its people, and therefore, we will continue to work with the government, entrepreneurs, and the public to build a successful country,” said Gunther Mayer, the managing director of the European chain of gas stations.
A valid member of Ukrainian Oil and Gas Association AMIC Energy is an Austrian company that owns a network of 470 mobile and retail gas stations in Austria, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Ukraine, with headquarters in Vienna. As of 2021, FDI “AMIK Ukraine” is one of the largest fuel retail networks in Ukraine, occupying 7.4% of the Ukrainian fuel retail market
Since the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine, AMIC Energy in Ukraine has been providing assistance to units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military administrations, and territorial communities of various regions.
As of April 12, 2023, AMIC Energy has provided more than 280,000 liters of fuel, 4 quadcopters, 12 thermal imagers, 12 binoculars, 10 units of Bandera Power 225 S multi-channel chargers, 12 protected tablets, 4 TVs, 10 Wi-Fi access points, more than 150 gas heaters, and more than 150 units of winter clothes and shoes. Additionally, they have provided 1 high-reliability Motorola repeater radio and ANTIDRON KVSG 6+ UAV control channel suppression hardware complex to combat kamikaze drones.
