The Oil and Gas Association of Ukraine proposes to bring a number of provisions of the draft law on the transport of dangerous goods in line with European legislation

On February 12, 2018, at a working meeting at the Committee for the Operation, Construction, and Safety of the Oil and Gas Association of Ukraine, two draft legislative acts on the transport of dangerous goods were discussed: a law prepared by a group of national deputies and an order by the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine to approve a number of normative-legal acts in this sphere.

The State Fiscal Service of Ukraine has disclosed its performance in fuel excise duty collection in 2017. The state budget of Ukraine has received UAH 46.1 billion of the fuel excise duty, that is by UAH 8.9 billion (24%) more than in 2016.

News from Members of the Ukrainian Oil & Gas Association: The Parallel Company Has Paid UAH 660 M of Taxes to the State Budget of Ukraine in 2017.

One of the largest Ukrainian suppliers of fuel in large and small wholesale batches the Company Parallel has transferred UAH 659.8 M of taxes and duties to budget funds of various types in 2017. This amount included UAH 634.5 M paid by Parallel to the state budget and UAH 25.3 M contributed to local budgets.

New Autogas Quality Standard Developed with Account of the European Union’s Standards Enters into Force in Ukraine on 1 February 2018

The State Standard DSTU588:2017 (EN 589:2008+A1:2012, IDT) enters into force on 1 February 2018. The document sets stricter requirements to quality of the LPG used for motor vehicles and also brings the Ukrainian standard into compliance with the European one.
